Adult Christian Education Series PDF Print E-mail
In describing the twelve year-old Jesus experience at the Temple, Luke’s gospel asserts that Jesus “grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and humankind.” As Jesus’ followers, we are also called to group in “wisdom and stature.”

At Lancaster Theological Seminary, our goal is to provide “theological education for every generation” and this includes congregational groups as well as individuals. During the Fall and Spring, we offer Christian education programs for small and large groups within your congregation. So far, more than 75 congregations have participated in this “multi-church” program. In the past, we have offered classes in The healings of Jesus, the problem of evil, Job, the Psalms, lives of faith, creation and new creation (creation and the end of the world), and Jesus and sinners.
Each program consists of the following:
  1. Introductory lecture at Lancaster Theological Seminary
  2. 15 bound Study guides & an unbound copy
  3. Video to accompany study guide
  4. Concluding lecture at Lancaster Theological Seminary
The cost of this program is $175 per congregation, with some modest scholarship assistance available.
